Explain To Me This Mottled Sky -- and this world where I have spent myself a dozen times . . .

  1. These are wonderful photos, Anitra. Like Norma, you captured Monday's daylit half-moon and the rest are filled with calm shadows --one of which I recognize as a friend-in-correspondence. You have a skill of photo-composition that I much admire. It shows a special affection for this lovely planet we get to live on.

    1. Geo, it's always a delight to read your comments. And yes, I see that Norma too caught the half-moon. Surprising how it commanded attention. Thank you for your kind words. One wonders (especially when the images are not bombastic, but more subtle) if the Photographer's feelings translate onto the page. With someone as perceptive as you -- of course they would.

I'm happy you read so clearly my affection for this lovely planet where we get to live.

My fond regards to you and your beautiful doppelganger, Norma, ~ Anitra

    2. Geo, it's always a delight to read your comments. And yes, how interesting, both Norma and I responded to Monday's moon. It seemed to command attention. I don't exactly know why, but its presence was palpable.

You recognized my image in the shadows of eucalyptus. Thank you for your kind words. Once doesn't necessarily know if what one feels is translated into a photograph (especially when they are subtle and not bombastic.) But of course with your beyond fine-tuned perception, it figures that you would. You clearly read my affection for this lovely planet where we both live.

My fond wishes to you and your beautiful doppelganger Norma, ~ Anitra
